Tattoo Flash

I love when someone selects my flash! So …thank you!

Hey there,

I’m Shannon, the tattoo apprentice at Wildwood Tattoos in Manchester, CT. I love creating designs in collaboration with my clients. When I get to work on my own concepts, I like to explore a wide range of styles — lately I’ve been drawn to floral designs mixed with monster elements. I am also really enjoying traditional tattoo designs and motifs, but with my own twist.

No matter how many papers I’ve written, essays, book reports, or general…

  • Tattoo Inquiry vs Consultation

What do I start? What are all these links? Does this sound familiar? I feel like everyone has a different process, and at times it feels like some kind of secret society-level indoctrination. Which means you start wondering… what exactly am I signing up for? Did I just sell part of my soul? Do I…

  • Why I’m Not Choosing Just One Tattoo Style (Yet)

I’ve had a bit of an epiphany lately, in regards to picking a tattoo style. (Side note: I am eternally grateful for spell check in spelling words like epiphany. I’m also pretty sure my brain missed an important part of school where spelling was supposed to stick, and it has since rebelled against becoming a…

  • Tattoo Design: Turning Your Ideas Into a Tattoo Design

(From a Tattoo Apprentice at Wildwood Tattoos in Manchester, CT) How do you turn your ideas into a tattoo design? Well, this should probably be taken with a grain of salt to a degree being a tattoo apprentice. But… I’ve been getting tattoos since I was 18, and at this point… I have quite a…
